Share a snowmobile with a friend and travel into the area around Abisko National Park and beyond. This trip will take us further into the wilderness and higher up in the mountain areas. As we cruise through the frozen landscape it is not uncommon to encounter the "King of the Forest", the majestic moose.

Before making our way back home we will stop for a break  where you will be able to enjoy a hot beverage together with the magnificent views. In order to drive your own snowmobile a regular driver's license from your home country is required. If you do not have a license you can join the trip as a passenger. Minimum age: 7

Starting time is 9:00 for the morning tour and 13:30 for the afternoon tour and return is around 11:00 for the morning tour at 15:30 for the
afternoon tour. Helmet, warm clothing and hot beverages are included. If you wish to join this trip on another date than those scheduled, go for a 4-hour, full day or multi-day trip please send an email with your request to activities@abisko.me.


Prices

Shared (2 adults) - 2900 SEK: Booking of an entire snowmobile is required for this option. Example: To book a shared snowmobile for 2 adults please select 1x this option

Shared (1 adult + child (7-14 yrs) - 2400 SEK: Children need to be booked together with an adult. Example: To book a tour for 1 child and 1 adult please select 1x this option


Please note! 
Although snow conditions in December usually provide enough support for snowmobiles, exceptions may occur. In the unlikely event of conditions not allowing us to arrange this trip you will have the choice to either join it on another date or to receive a full refund of your payment. We do not take responsibility for any travel expenses to or from Abisko.

Getting here

The trip starts at the small red-and-white building located at Karvens väg 18 in Abisko Östra. You will see an Activities In Abisko sign just outside of the building. It is a 10 minute walk from Abisko.net and the Abisko Mountain Lodge and about a five-minute walk from the Abisko Guesthouse.

Please be at our starting point 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time.

  • Guests staying at STF Abisko Tourist Station will be picked up for no extra charge, 30 minutes before the scheduled starting time.

  • Guests staying at Abisko Mountain Lodge and Abisko.net Hostel and Huskies can choose to be picked up from the Abisko Mountain Lodge parking lot, 20 minutes before the scheduled starting time.
