Northern Lights Adventure - Photos included

Spend an evening searching for the northern lights in the Arctic wilderness around Abisko. This experience combines nature, exploration, photography, and Arctic landscapes in one unforgettable adventure.

Accompanied by experienced local guides, you’ll travel through remote areas far from artificial light, increasing your chances of seeing the aurora under the best possible conditions.

During the tour, we may cover long distances — sometimes up to 200 km — in search of clear skies and active auroras. Every evening is different, and the route is adapted according to weather forecasts and aurora activity.

From September to December, the tour is operated in a comfortable 4x4 van adapted to Arctic roads and conditions.

From January to March, if snow and weather conditions are suitable, the experience may also be operated by snowmobile with a sled. Guests sit comfortably in the sled pulled by the guide, allowing you to fully enjoy the Arctic landscapes and the night sky.

While waiting for the auroras, your guide will share stories about local life in the Arctic and offer simple stargazing guidance, helping you recognize constellations and navigate the polar night sky. Photography tips are also provided throughout the experience.

Professional photos are included, so you can fully enjoy the moment while taking home high-quality memories of your Arctic night.

• 19:00 – Hotel pick-up in Abisko or Björkliden (exact time confirmed after booking)
• Evening – Northern lights chase, scenic stops, stargazing, and photography
• 00:00–01:00 – Return to Abisko (flexible depending on conditions and aurora activity)
