Accompanied by knowledgeable local guides, you’ll travel through remote areas far from busy routes. We avoid crowded tourist locations and instead focus on hidden gems — places where you can truly experience the silence and beauty of the Arctic.

As we make our way toward the fjords, we stop at scenic viewpoints and quiet natural areas to enjoy the landscapes and search for wildlife in their natural environment.

During this 6–6,5 hour experience, we continue exploring carefully selected areas of the fjords, always adapting the route and stops according to wildlife activity and weather conditions. You may encounter European sea eagles, seabirds, moose, reindeer, foxes, and occasionally whales and porpoises.

Your guide will also share stories about local culture and everyday life in the Arctic, while offering helpful photography tips.

Throughout the tour, your guide will take professional photos for you — including landscapes, wildlife encounters, and personal portraits — so you can focus entirely on the experience while still taking home high-quality memories.

During the tour, we also include a packed lunch with a sandwich, snacks, and dessert (vegetarian option available) allowing you to enjoy a relaxed meal surrounded by Arctic landscapes.

Transportation is provided in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle adapted to Arctic roads and terrain.

*Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, but our guides use their expertise to give you the best possible chances.

*This is not a hiking tour. The experience is designed as a scenic Arctic road trip, with comfortable access to remote fjords, mountains, and coastal landscapes. Short walks and exploration stops along the way allow you to fully experience the scenery without demanding physical activity.

*For our Norwegian Fjords tours, we kindly ask you to complete the booking with the full names of all guests. Please also remember to bring your passport or national ID card, as we will be crossing the border into Norway during the tour.

Itinerary

• 10:00 – Hotel pick-up in Abisko or Björkliden
• 09:00 – Hotel pick-up during Polar Night (December and January)
• Day tour – Scenic stops, wildlife observation, and exploration of the Norwegian fjords
• 16:00–17:00 – Return to Abisko (flexible depending on conditions, sightings, and stops)

  Due to new Norwegian cross-border transport regulations, Swedish tour companies can no longer operate this excursion in Norway using their own vehicles without the required transport licence. To continue offering the tour legally, transportation is provided by a licensed bus company with a professional driver, while one of our experienced guides leads the full experience. Please note that the group will consist of more than 8 but no more than 18 guests.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Please read our cancellation policy carefully before booking.

Guest Cancellation:

• More than 30 days before the tour: You will receive a 100% refund of the total booking amount.

• Between 30 days and 3 days before the tour: No refund will be issued. However, you may reschedule your tour to another available date during the current season or the following season, subject to availability. The tour price will remain the same, regardless of any price changes.

Cancellation by Abisko Mountain Lodge:

If we need to cancel a tour due to unsafe weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control, you may choose one of the following options:

• Join an alternative tour that we recommend (subject to availability).

• Reschedule your tour to another available date during your stay.

• Receive a 100% full refund.
